Project description
Our mission as an organization is to contribute to the comprehensive development and improvement of the quality of life of all citizens, especially young people. Among our activities we can mention: Info-Europa: a service whose purpose is to inform, advise and manage the programs that the European Union has created in the fields of education, training and youth/ Language workshops/Career counseling and training courses about socio-professional abilities/Workshops: recycling, dance, yoga, tailoring, etc./Urban Art: we organized different local and international activities where we use urban art as a tool for inclusion, social transformation and entrepreneurship. Volunteer’s tasks: supporting Info-Europa service, promoting local and international volunteering activities, supporting our workshops and activities, helping in our daily work, creating and uploading news to our webpage and social networks, as well as posters and other media design activities.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The selected volunteers (4) will be sharing an apartment provided by the host organization. They will receive a monthly bus card in order to travel withing Malaga and will receive a monthly allowance to cover their dietary needs (food). The cost flight from their home country to Spain is also covered by the project and they will receive a monthly amount as pocket money for any extra expenses they might have other from food, transport and accomodation.
Training during the project
The volunteers will receive 4 hours of Spanish lessons for the firts three months of the mobility, and will receive individual training depending on the area of interest according to their profile (graphic design, social work, social media, promotion, etc.). They will also receive the mandatory arrival training and the mid-term evaluation carried out by the Spanish National Agency.
Volunteer profile
Profile: we are looking for volunteers with different profiles, mainly: social field, communication and graphic design, social animation and youth facilitation. Young people who are motivated, committed, interested in acquiring new competences, as well as contributing to the aims and activities of our organisation.
