Tasks
We will host 2 volunteers, one will be in charge of new media, promotion, poster designing, photography, video,… The other will be in charge of various workshops in the day center of Litija Youth center, for example: sports workshops, workshops on the theme of intercultural dialogue, arts and crafts,… Tasks of the volunteers: •The two volunteers will make their own personal project, based on their own preferences, cooperating with other volunteers and employees, •Volunteers will actively cooperate with employees and other volunteers of the Litija youth center. Together they will plan and execute the promotional activities •They will lead a year-long workshop, with a final event, •They will be actively included in the designing of the programme, they will cooperate in the weekly staff meetings and other project meetings, •Each of the volunteers will independantly prepare 6 various activities (aside from the regular activities) like exhibitions, workshops, round tables, classes,… •They will lead workshops where they will present the country of their origin and also promote the EVS service. Individual tasks (new media volunteer): •Volunteer will actively cooperate with employees and other volunteers of the Litija youth center. Together they will plan and execute all the promotional activities, especially informing the youth through two websites, a web newspaper, designing of posters and fliers, •Volunteer will prepare at least 10 short documentary films about bigger projects of the youth center, •Volunteer will help with the design of promotional material and also publish it through new media, •Volunteer will collaborate in the making of a documentary film about the youth center,… Individual tasks (workshops volunteer): •Volunteer will organize and lead a school holidays arts and crafts workshop, •Volunteer will collaborate in the making of a documentary film about the youth center, •Volunteer will help with planning and implementing of various workshops, •Event video and photography, •Help with informing and counseling with daily visitors of the day center,…
Criteria
1. New media volunteer: Basic knowledge of photography and video, basic knowledge of computer design programs. 2. Workshops volunteer: good communication skills, good with young people (our visitors are app 15-30 years old) Posted by: activeideas
