Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
OUR ORGANIZATION OFFERS TO VOLUNTEERS:

The volunteer will cooperate with internal, external workers and volunteers of SVC Ivancice on the following activities. The volunteer will be intergrated to work teams of SVC Ivancice. All workers will help volunteer in the following activities.
Activities of particular profiles can be combined according to the volunteer’s interest and they can adjust according to the months.
PROFILE 1: YOUTH CLUB
This profile is suitable for short and long-term EVS.
1/ The volunteer will cooperate on creation, preparation, organization and realization activities for youth in the club (activities like table tennis, table football, darts, billiards, social games, playstation, Xbox, workshops, diskoteques, tournaments, competitions, ...) and outside of the club (tournaments, competitions, ceilidhs, weekends stays, trips, camps ...) (60%)
2/ The volunteer will communicate with young people on various themes from his/her native town, he/she will provide information about EVS, YiA programmes, he/she will cooperate on actions like prezentations, exhibitions, seminars, …(10%)
3/ The volunteer will cooperate on practical matters (lending games, ensure opening club, ensure repairing materials, …) and promotional activities (creation posters and leaflets, writing articles, taking photographs, making photos, films, clips, music, updating webpage, …) (10%)
4/ The volunteer will learn Czech language, he/she will be involved informal educational actions organizing with SVC Ivancice, the volunteer will create the own project, participate leisure time activities and meetings other volunteers EVS, elaborate photographical and factual materials from EVS, organize presentational activities or various themes for schools and public. (20%)
PROFILE 2: SPORTING ACTIVITIES
This profile is suitable for long-term EVS.
1/ The volunteer will cooperate on preparation, organization, realization sporting activities like sporting hobby groups for children and youth (Handball, Basketball, Football, Floorball, Tennis, ...), sporting actions (Floorball cup, Handball cup, Skatepark cup, Trips to rope centre, Tournaments, Competitions, ...), sporting camps, weekend stays and stay programmes for schools (Teamwork, Communication, Adaptation programmes, Review, …). (80%)
2/ The volunteer will learn Czech language, he/she will be involved informal educational actions organizing with SVC Ivancice, the volunteer will create the own project, participate leisure time activities and meetings other volunteers EVS, elaborate photographical and factual materials from EVS, organize presentational activities or various themes for schools and public. (20%)
PROFILE 3: CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
This profile is suitable for long-term EVS.
1/ The volunteer will cooperate on preparation, organization, realization creative activities like creative hobby groups for children and youth (Ceramics, Painting, New creative technics...), creative actions (Stapling, Work with beads, Original T-shirts, Napkin technics, Painting on glass, ...), creative camps, weekend stays and programmes for schools. (80%)
2/ The volunteer will learn Czech language, he/she will be involved informal educational actions organizing with SVC Ivancice, the volunteer will create the own project, participate leisure time activities and meetings other volunteers EVS, elaborate photographical and factual materials from EVS, organize presentational activities or various themes for schools and public. (20%)
PROFILE 4: MATERNITY AND FAMILY CENTRE
This profile is suitable for short and long-term EVS.
1/ The volunteer will cooperate on preparation, organization and realization activities (like creating, painting, sporting, learning simple games, ...) for children in Children centre. (40%)
2/ The volunteer will cooperate on preparation, organization, realization activities for children and their parents like hobby groups (sporting, creative hobby groups, ceramics, clubs for mum and babies, ...), actions (funny, creative, sporting actions, ...), camps, weekend stays with programmes for this group. (40%)
3/ The volunteer will learn Czech language, he/she will be involved informal educational actions organizing with SVC Ivancice, the volunteer will create the own project, participate leisure time activities and meetings other volunteers EVS, elaborate photographical and factual materials from EVS, organize presentational activities or various themes for schools and public. (20%)
SUPPORT
The personal support will be provided by mentors (3), the working support will be provided by internal workers of SVC Ivancice, (each of the volunteers will have an own leader), the language support will be provided by Czech teachers (3) speaking English and the support in administrative matters will be provided by internal worker of SVC Ivancice.
WORKING HOURS
Working hours of the volunteer will be flexible; he/she will work about 32 hours per week, two
consecutive days off per week, two days off per month.
Volunteer profiles and recruitment process:
Volunteer profile: We expect a comparably independent, creative and adaptable young person, able to work in a team. He/she must be willing to educate him/herself and to actively contribute to the activities of SVC Ivancice.
Volunteer assessment: We will chose among the volunteers according to their motivation letters that the profile and interests of the volunteer could comply with our project needs. The main activities of SVC Ivancice are targeted the work with children and youth, so the advantage for the volunteer can be some experience with a such work.
Special knowledge and abilities: Working with children and young people necessitates volunteer’s ability to communicate patiently, his/her positive attitude to children and youth, and his/her social abilities such as open-mindedness, empathy, tolerance and cooperation.
