Volunteers will be engaged in activities aimed to support immigrants' and homeless people integration in society. Specifically, the activities will be: receiving hosts and managing together with local volunteers the night hostel for homeless people, assisting Italian lessons for foreigners, supporting permanent hosting structures of the association, and general support of sensibilisation campaigns against racism.
Tasks
Main taks of the volunteer will be to be engaged at the noght hostel, which welcomes homeless people for a night. The task consists in welcoming hosts, managing the rooms, preparing breakfast, and general support in managing the structure.
Criteria
Since we already have two female volunteers, we are ONLY LOOKING FOR MALE VOLUNTEERS!!! Volunteers should have hosting spirit, be open to help and encounter different cultures and people with different backgrounds, be open to listening and supporting people in difficulties and be available for different kinds of activities.Posted by: Ivan
