volunteers can be involved in the following activities:
- updating of the web site of the Municipality (Welfare and youth policies/Culture departments) and of various projects, including translations and managing of connected social networks (youtube, facebook, twitter and more);
- backing the staff of the Culture Department throughout the year (art exhibitions, cultural initiatives, events, theatre or dance performances) carrying out the activities linked to the creation of promotional materials, programmes, leaflets, etc. and secretariat tasks (organising the hosting and travelling of the authors, contacting art companies, managing logistic matters, etc.)
- collaborating with the existing international projects and with the Twinning Office for the implementation of the Twinning Towns Festival (paper / audio / video / photo materials) and participating in their dissemination phase.
- collaborating with the publication of the newsletter of the youth desk
- assisting users investigating about European programmes at the Youth Desk (Youth In Action, Erasmus, Leonardo, ...)
- helping in archiving documentary materials (paper, sound photo and video materials) connected with cultural events organised in previous seasons by the 2 Departments and participating in the disseminations steps.
o According to their initial competencies and interests the volunteers' tasks will reflect their abilities and wishes, with all respect to the present project.
We provide them with every basic skill suitable to carry out each task in a more and more autonomous and personal way.
Moreover volunteers are free to suggest and implement intercultural activities or linked to their specific know-how, such as language courses or presentations, debates, projects and innovative ideas.Posted by: Ivan
