Volunteer will help in organizing international youth projects of the organization as well as help in small activities and daily work of the organization. Volunteers will be working as assistance to the Project Managers responsible for different projects like training courses, seminars, international youth exchanges and study visits.
Tasks
Proposed activities for the volunteers are: 1. Help in organizing international youth projects: planning the projects’ programm together with the project team, contact with future Polish and/or foreign participants, help in administration work, translations, help with preparatory meetings of Polish participants groups,help in running some activities during the project and if wanted running independently some activities, e.g. socializing and getting to know each other games or the country’s presentations, taking photos during the project, leading the group in the city, help with summing up evaluation forms, attending evaluation meetings with the project team. 2. Help in organizing and running organizational events. 3. Help in everyday work of the organization.
Criteria
A volunteer should be generally interested in youth work and international cooperation. S/he should be open for different and new people from other countries and cultures and like to co-operate and work in groups. On the whole, the volunteer should be interested, open-minded to contribute with one’s own creativity in the group’s work and willing to develop his/her personality. It is welcome if the volunteer has basic English and/or Russian language skills and is willing to study Polish, which would help a lot in daily life of a volunteer and would enable him/her to be more involved into the organization’s life.Posted by: activeideas
