A/ Project environment

Responsible for providing an activity plan as well as safe working and living conditions to the volunteer throughout the project activities. Provide personal supervision (mentor) and work-related support and/or training to enable full integration into the project. Support integration into local community. Provide accommodation, food (or food money), and linguistic support. Provide the volunteer with monthly pocket money. Help the volunteer to fill in the Youthpass on completion of each volunteer's service.
B/ Activities proposed for EVS volunteers

The volunteer will participe at the life at the Centre, at the quality of its family atmosphere. He will be charged to assist the staff to welcome, to help at the reception, and to lead international groups.
We propose to the volunteer to initiate itself at the différentes activities of the livein the international Centre (phone welcoming, preparation of "the groups road sheet" and teaching material) but also: make "crèpes", organise a bingo or a chess tournament or ping pong) and the accomadation help.
The working hours of the post for volunteers are varying every week corresponding of the reception of the groups. Mostly it concerns working hours in the morning or in the afternoon, from Monday to Saturday morning (8.00/12.00 or 14.00/18.00), more frequently 1h30 in the evening from 20.30 to 22.00.
Free time at week end except for summer. 5 weeks of holiday for a service of one year.
The voluntary achieves his experience with :
*numerous abilities in the welcoming and animation of international groups.
*a european identity thanks to the daily international youth exchanges, participation at popular education activities for kids and teenagers.
* a good knowledge of the french real way of life
* the possibility to develop a personal initiative in the association frame
* a huge sense of responsabilities and a hight level of personal involvement
* a fluent french language (1 year) and others languages
* a great Openminding thanks to international meeting and a more ease for humans contacts in general.
C/ Volunteers' profiles and recruitment process

The CMEF is searching for young people who are mature enough to understand the large number of
little exercises, which contribute to a good realisation of our activities for school groups (students
from middle schools and high schools with teachers). It is rather searching for young people with a
student image, who possess a basis in French and have a good command of English. Girl or boy,
when it's possible, with an experience of teamwork or associative activities. The Center is assuring
an education in the French language appropriating to the level and the essentials of the volunteer,
