Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
During the project volunteer will have opportunity:
- learning Polish through communication with our students
- getting experience in working with youth
- introducing different forms and methods which will help them deal with students who have difficulties in studying
- getting experience in participating in preventive programs for students
- organize own initiatives for youth from our school (music, art, sport, football fun etc).
The role of EVS volunteer will be:
- helping in educational activities,
- using the project as a method,
- organizing their own activities with the students,
- organizing after class activities for students willing to help in preparing different presentations and projects,
- cooperation with the teaching staff in order to help them bring new ideas in their work.
- organizing and taking part in drama, sports or cultural events within school.
Activities and tasks for volunteers:
Helping or assisting in any school, sports and social events which our school will participate in and where the volunteer’s
participation will be helpful or useful.
The volunteer will mainly assist our English teacher and will help organize "different" lessons from those ordinary ones to
diverse our school life.
Promotion of EVS among Poles.
C. Volunteer profiles and recruitment process:
We are looking for a person who is dynamic, energetic, creative, independent and self – confident.
Besides, we would like to cooperate with a person without any addictions with good manners and open to people. We would
prefer to invite a volunteer with good knowledge of English and willing to learn Polish.
We require a strongly motivated person who is willing to work with youth who have difficulties in studying, with low self-esteem.
The role of the volunteer will be to motivate them to develop themselves and their skills and abilities in different areas such as
communication, cooperation etc. We would like that person to be able to change our students’ outlook on themselves and life.
We are searching a person who:
-wants to work and organize the workshops/leisure time for our youth,
-likes nature and is not afraid of outdoor activities (specially the sport activities),
-wants to learn Polish to run individual workshops and activities,
- is not afraid to lead a group and talk in front of the group.
